Kate Golden is digital editor of Bay Nature, a nonprofit that connects Bay Area residents with nature through environmental journalism. She leads BN’s Wild Billions reporting project, exploring the local impact of transformational federal money for nature. She has a background in investigative environmental and data reporting. Her work has appeared in Sierra, The Atlantic, Hakai, the Washington Post and on KQED. She’s also a sailor, swimmer, angler, and artist: obsessed with all things water-related.
